Goal of the year

Daily readers of my blog know that I am a huge hockey fan. Last week I saw one of the best goals of the year. A fellow Bramptonite, Jason Spezza of the Ottawa Senators scored an unbelievable goal against the Montreal Canadians. Below are instructions to view the goal:

1. Click this link.
2. Under related info, click on Highlights: MON-OTT.
3. You will need to login to access the site, click on this link for a username and password.
4. You will need to wait 1 minute and 20 seconds before you see the goal.

Enjoy, and let me know what you think.

I saw the goal. They kept showing it over and over again on Sportsnet. Pretty sick move.

You could probably do the same, Ozair. But you got to learn how to skate first :)

LOL, my goal this winter is to learn how to ice-skate. I have already learned how to roller-blade last summer, so I don't think it should be that difficult.

Brampton has a free outdoor skating rink that I can practice on. I would invite you, but it is difficult to get you to come down to Brown....Brampton.

Saw that goal too, many times. Definitely the sickest goal I've seen this year. Now I'm a huge Leafs fan, and I shouldn't be praising the Senators, but they are damn good. I'm glad they embarassed Toronto with the 8-0 win, that is how you learn. But then again, the Leafs don't seem to learn much.

Hey you guys should get everyone together again and we'll set up a game with the whitby guys, I feel like testing out the Spezza move on Omair. Wait, Nadeem can stand there too, makes no difference. Ozair you can be the goalie...

The Senators team is sick this year, but I think the Leafs will be better once Sundin comes back.

I'm down to play Whitby boys, but I don't wanna drive down to Whitby, Scarborough is already far enough.
I have been practicing my roller blading skills all summer, so don't be surprised if I have a few tricks for ya'all.

Sundin is back. They're not much better than they were before. D's a recurring problem, it seems.

Safiyyah,

Agreed. The Leafs are playing better with Sundin back, they probably don't have the D to go anywhere in the playoffs.

Glad there are Muslimah hockey fans out there. I wish my girl cousins and aunts were hockey fans, too many times I have lost out on watching hockey games cause they wanted to watch a desi movie.
